I'm so happy you're visiting my website... here you'll find my paintings and other works made with natural, recycled, and secondhand materials, and a spark of my soul... The nature of my most beloved places has inspired two characters, one called VannTroll, a creature that lives near water, and the other is Castagar, the guardian of the chestnut woods... Here you can find paintings using various techniques on different media: candle holders, essence burners, keychains, furniture, and jewelry, as well as clay creations and my Trolls, with which I make incense holders, fairy lamps, and now also concrete plant pots depicting VannTroll.
Hi everyone, I'm Erika Corrado, Art-Ika. My passion is art... that's why I work as a
face painter and entertainer at children's parties and events, and art workshops in schools and at events. I'm a trollmaker, decorator, and illustrator.
I started doing makeup for children and adults in Norway in 2017, and then continued here in Italy.
My practice is artistic body painting, which goes beyond makeup to create original designs and decorations on cheeks and arms.
I enjoy blending realism and fantasy in my work.
From 2024 | also do art workshops in schools and in summer campus for kids.
Since late 2023, I've also been entertaining children with games, both classic and my own, at birthday parties, baptisms, weddings, and all types of events.

Since October 2025, I've also been creating custom caricatures of my VannTroll; I'll turn you into a Water Troll.

They are the Water Trolls, they live near fresh and sea water, in the woods, in tree cavities and caves. They are my little forest creatures; nice, sweet and mischievous. Remember to give them a name and when you go to sleep dont forget to touch their nose and thank them, they will help you and protect you. They are the Chestnut Trolls... they seem to have their heads in the clouds with their slightly haunted eyes; of course they are a little stiff in their movements because they are made of twigs... but they are good towards everyone... they live in the chestnut trees, of which they are the protectors, but it also happens to see them around the woods... be careful, they are very small and shy. Remember to give them a name and when you go to sleep don't forget to touch their nose and thank them, they will help you and protect you. You can also give them a name.
